    Required Skills & Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Product Management, Engineering, Information Technology or related field.

    • Experience of 6 years in IT and business analysis, business development, solutions development, systems analysis, technical design/development and implementation.

  • Systems Engineer

    Terms of Employment
    • W2 Contract-to-Hire, 12 Months
    • This position is hybrid. Candidates must be comfortable working onsite one-to-three times per month in Columbia, MD (21044) or Washington, DC.

    Overview & Responsibilities
    We are seeking a Java Developer with 2-4 years of development experience to join our team supporting operations of the federal employee claims vouchering process. The Federal Programs Post Adjudication (PAV) team is responsible for the processing of claims for our internal and external plan vendors. This position is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of supporting the various program modules that support the claims voucher and reporting process. We are seeking a self-motivated individual capable of working independently as well as participating on a small team. The Java Developer will apply analytical and problem-solving skills to assist with identifying, communicating, and resolving issues.

    Required Skills & Experience
    • Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of experience as a Developer.
    • Strong technical experience in X12 (837) claims EDI format.
    • Skilled in Java development to include detail design, coding, and unit testing.
    • Experience with the Spring framework.
    • Experience in object-oriented analysis and design with emphasis on JMS.
    • Experience with cloud computing platforms, specifically AWS.
    • Experience working in Agile environments.
    • Excellent analytical, planning, and communication skill sets.
    • Ability to work independently and quickly learn new technologies.

    Preferred Skills & Experience
    • Angular JS or other modern UI development experience.
    • Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
    • Proficient with SQL Query and experience with Oracle databases and Snowflake.
    • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Gradle).
    • Experience with Linux Operating Systems.
    • Python development experience.

    • Assist the Enrollment Supervisor with workflow management and data gathering.
    • Mentor and guide junior Enrollment Technicians on policies, procedures, and systems.
    • Maintain expert-level knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and D-SNP enrollment processes.

    Required Qualifications
    • 5+ years of experience in membership enrollment within a healthcare environment.
    • 3+ years of experience in a Team Lead, Senior, or supervisory capacity.
    • Expert-level proficiency with the Facets system for enrollment processing.
    • Mandatory and extensive experience working with Medicare, Medicaid, and D-SNP (Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans) enrollment.
    • Proven leadership and mentoring skills.

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Knowledge of EAM, EDWP, or MAPD.
