Overview
Our client is looking for a Business Development Executive.
- Identifying New Opportunities:
- Proactively identifying federal contract opportunities aligned with our organization’s capabilities
- Scanning government procurement portals, attending industry events, and networking to stay informed
- Generate leads through various channels (cold calling, networking, referrals, etc.)
- Cultivating Relationships
- Building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, prime contractors, and subcontractors
- Collaborating with executive leadership to foster strategic partnerships
- Securing Government Contracts
- Developing and executing strategies to secure federal contracts
- Participating in proposal development, bid submissions, and negotiations
- Ensuring compliance with federal regulations, acquisition policies, and contract requirements
- Market Intelligence and Analysis:
- Conducting market research specific to federal agencies and their needs.
- Analyzing trends, budget allocations, and policy changes affecting federal procurement
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Government Relations, Marketing or a related field.
- Proven track record in business development, specifically within the federal sector.
- Familiarity with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and government procurement processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
