Overview
Our client is looking for a Business Development Executive.

  • Identifying New Opportunities:
    • Proactively identifying federal contract opportunities aligned with our organization’s capabilities
    • Scanning government procurement portals, attending industry events, and networking to stay informed
    • Generate leads through various channels (cold calling, networking, referrals, etc.)
  • Cultivating Relationships
    • Building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, prime contractors, and subcontractors
    • Collaborating with executive leadership to foster strategic partnerships
  • Securing Government Contracts
    • Developing and executing strategies to secure federal contracts
    • Participating in proposal development, bid submissions, and negotiations
    • Ensuring compliance with federal regulations, acquisition policies, and contract requirements
  • Market Intelligence and Analysis:
    • Conducting market research specific to federal agencies and their needs.
    • Analyzing trends, budget allocations, and policy changes affecting federal procurement

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Government Relations, Marketing or a related field.
  • Proven track record in business development, specifically within the federal sector.
  • Familiarity with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and government procurement processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
