Terms of Employment• W2 Contract, 6 Months (Extension Highly Likely)• This position is primarily remote. With that said, candidates must reside in the Chicagoland area for occasional in-office meetings in Oakbrook Terrace, IL.Overview & ResponsibilitiesOur client is looking for a Business Systems Analyst (CC&B) to join a leading energy provider’s New Business team to tackle critical customer billing challenges. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in billing systems, particularly Oracle CC&B, to analyze accounts, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate customer billing. This is a primarily remote position offering flexibility and the chance to make a significant impact during a 6-month contract, with potential for extension. Key responsibilities include:• Utilize the CC&B system daily to investigate and resolve customer billing issues identified in backlog reports.• Navigate various CC&B panels to review account details, financial history, service points, and meter information.• Analyze findings to identify root causes of billing errors and potential process improvements.• Track, document, and report on findings, trends, and statuses, primarily using Excel.• Collaborate with the new business billing team, assign work as needed, and gather feedback.• Utilize the Intellio system for managing new business work.Required Qualifications• Demonstrated hands-on experience working with Customer Care & Billing (CC&B) systems.• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.• Excellent organizational skills for managing reports and tracking findings.• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis.• Ability to work effectively in a primarily remote setting while being available for occasional on-site meetings within the Chicagoland region.Preferred Qualifications• Experience with ComEd systems and processes, particularly in the New Business area.• Experience using the Intellio system.• Experience with Power BI for reporting.• Experience working within a utility company.• Bachelor’s degree.
