Construction Superintendent

Terms of Employment

• W2 Contract, 8.5 Months
• This position is onsite in Warrendale, PA.

Overview

Our client is seeking a Construction Superintendent to join their team. This role ensures overall project success by managing field operations, enforcing safety protocols, resolving issues, maintaining documentation, and keeping projects on schedule. It requires building strong relationships with Owners, Engineers, and Subcontractors, leading project meetings, and aligning daily activities with project goals.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall project success including but not limited to day-to-day field operations, safety, schedule, and quality. 
• Enforce jobsite safety protocols and conduct regular safety meetings. 
• Investigate, document, and resolve day-to-day field issues. 
• Complete accurate job and progress reports and other job-related project documentation
• Develop schedules and determine sequencing of work, identify and implement recovery strategies to maintain project schedule. 
• Provide daily correspondence to the Project Manager related to progress and performance.
• Maintain professional working relationships with Owners, Engineers, and Subcontractors. 
• Ability to lead weekly project meetings with Owners and Subcontractors. 
• Organizing daily activities based on the goals of the project. 

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum of 5 years Construction Superintendent experience.
• MEP project experience.
• Ability to work with multiple construction trades. 
• Proficient in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Word, and Excel. 
• Must be able to clear the background screenings required for PA School Districts (FBI Check, PA State Police Check, PA Child Abuse Check). 
• Possess a valid driver’s license, transportation, and a cellular device.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience working in PA schools.
