Overview

Our client is seeking a Financial Due Diligence Director to join their seasoned, nationally acclaimed team of professionals. This is a high-impact opportunity to lead buy-side and sell-side financial diligence services within a holistic M&A group that supports clients from pre-close readiness through transaction integration. The successful candidate will manage multiple challenging engagements, drive business development, and lead expert teams to deliver quality planning and responsive work products for private equity investor groups and strategic corporate buyers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple financial due diligence engagements related to acquisitions and divestitures.
• Develop and deliver quality planning approaches and work products that meet or exceed client expectations.
• Utilize proven business development skills to identify new opportunities and enhance go-to-market strategies.
• Lead and motivate teams by creating an atmosphere of trust, leveraging diverse views, and coaching staff.
• Participate in transactions for both private equity investor groups and strategic corporate buyers and sellers.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree, ideally with a major in accounting or finance.
• Approximately 10 years of related work experience.
• At least 5 years of specific experience in financial due diligence.
• Big Four or similar consulting background.
• Experience servicing private equity groups (PEG).
• Proven track record of success operating within a professional services firm or large consultancy.
• Successful track record of building and growing a Transaction Advisory Service Practice.
• Experience developing and supervising staff both on engagements and throughout their careers.
