Overview:
Our client is looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking HR Technologist/Business Analyst to join their People Transformation and Operations Excellence team for a 12-month contract. Reporting to the VP of People Transformation and Operations, this role will focus on accelerating People and Places (P&P) technology capabilities, including AI, while creating a seamless service experience for employees and managers. You’ll play a critical role in optimizing the HR tech stack in partnership with the CIO’s office and leading the governance of these systems.
As a thought leader in HR technology, you will influence the HR roadmap by providing insights into cost savings, process improvement, and leveraging AI. The ideal candidate brings expertise in analyzing business systems at an enterprise level and can bridge the gap between technology and HR. This position requires strong stakeholder management, the ability to work cross-functionally, and leadership in driving transformation within a fast-paced SaaS environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of the HR tech roadmap in collaboration with the CIO, ensuring governance and strategic alignment.
- Integrate AI and HR technology solutions across the People and Places organization, with a focus on cost savings and improving the employee/manager experience.
- Enhance the user experience by streamlining processes and delivering seamless service across the employee lifecycle.
- Govern and manage the tech stack, with a focus on consolidation and efficiency, aligned with the CIO’s strategy.
- Develop and execute the content strategy for People and Places, ensuring relevant, accurate, and timely information is available to all employees.
- Act as the lead in showcasing how HR technologies can be leveraged for a better HR support experience.
- Foster strong partnerships with various stakeholders, including P&P leadership, to drive collaboration across the organization.
- Stay current with market trends in HR technology and AI, ensuring the organization remains competitive.
- Work closely with the Ops Integration and People Services teams to implement new HR tech features.
- Manage cross-functional stakeholder relationships and facilitate discussions across P&P leadership.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, IT, Business, or a related field.
- 7-12+ years of experience in business systems analysis at the enterprise level, ideally within a SaaS or fast-moving industry.
- Proven experience in IT and/or HR Operations, with a strong understanding of governance in tech stack management.
- Expertise in HR technology solutions, including Workday and Zendesk (or similar systems like ServiceNow or Hubspot).
- Knowledge of AI and its application within HR processes and systems.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills, especially across IT and HR teams.
- Demonstrable strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on cost savings and efficiency.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team collaboration abilities.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field is a plus.
- Experience in HR technology within SaaS companies or similarly fast-paced industries.
