- Candidates must be local to Baltimore or Chicago.
- The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM-5 PM EST/CST.
Overview
Our client is seeking an IT Project Manager to support the BSC Financial System Transfer Department on the Apollo project. As the Apollo Boundary Tech Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and closing of information technology projects within an organization. You will manage project teams, resources, budgets, and timelines to ensure that projects are completed successfully.
Responsibilities
- Oversees day-to-day coordination with other IT teams, which includes oversight of budget, staffing, timelines and resources.
Engages External Vendors to onboard resources for successful delivery of application and integration remediation changes.
Support project initiation, execution and governance processes. - Provide status report inputs, metrics for dashboards, financial and workplan variance explanations, and RAID updates.
- Work with other IT teams to track progress against the workplan through all phases of the project.
- Coordinate between Apollo Test and other IT teams for test planning, executing, and defect resolution
Coordinate between Apollo Deployment and other IT teams for cutover, readiness, and hypercare.
Engage Apollo and other Business/IT teams as needed. - Acquire and apply business/IT knowledge.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree and 6-8 years of project management experience.
- 5+ years of experience with MS Project, ServiceNow, and ALM.
- Strong communication skills for effective stakeholder and team interaction.
- Leadership abilities to motivate and guide project teams.
- Problem-solving skills for identifying and addressing project challenges.
- Adaptability to handle shifting project requirements and priorities.
- Collaboration skills for working across multiple teams and departments.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- ServiceNow and ALM experience
- PMP certification
- IT finance project management experience
