Mid Financial Analyst

Terms of Employment

• W2 Contract, 6 Months
• This role operates on a hybrid schedule, requiring three days in-office at Oakbrook, IL (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) and two days remote (Monday and Friday)

Overview

Our client is seeking a Mid Financial Analyst to join their team. The successful candidate will focus on the Service Suspension project, working collaboratively across multiple departments to advocate for and ensure the completion of requested assignments. We are looking for a professional who is eager to understand existing processes, identify potential improvements, and see those enhancements through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Support the Service Suspension project and other operational initiatives.
• Perform detailed data analysis and operational reporting to support business decisions.
• Manage financial modeling and forecasting tasks.
• Execute processes related to Credit & Collections and navigate customer information systems.
• Collaborate with and follow up on assignments with various internal departments to ensure operational goals are met.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive those changes within the team.
• Work effectively within a team environment to meet project deadlines.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelors Degree or Higher.
• 5-10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Proficiency in data analysis and experience with operational analytics and reporting.
• Strong technical skills in advanced Excel.
• Demonstrated experience in financial modeling and forecasting.
• Proven ability to work independently without the need for constant supervision.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Technical proficiency with CC&B (customer information system), Oracle, PowerBI, or SQL.
• Experience working in a large-scale corporate environment with cross-departmental collaboration

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Prior experience with Credit & Collections processes.
