- This position is hybrid with Tuesday-Thursday in office.
- The office is located in Oakbrook Terrace, IL.
- Core hours are 9 AM-3 PM with flexible start and end times.
Overview
Our client is seeking a Senior Scheduler to join their team. As a Senior Scheduler, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the scheduling activities within an organization. You will work independently with little supervision and may supervise a team of schedulers or assistants. Responsibilities may include:
- Developing and implementing scheduling policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Managing and coordinating complex schedules for individuals, teams, or projects.
- Analyzing scheduling data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Providing guidance and support to junior schedulers or assistants.
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure that schedules are aligned with organizational goals and priorities.
- Communicating schedule changes and updates to relevant parties.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders to understand their scheduling needs and preferences.
- Providing training and mentorship to junior schedulers or assistants.
- Leading meetings and discussions related to scheduling activities.
- Ensuring that schedules are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulations and policies.
Required Skills & Experience
- High School Diploma and 6-9 years of experience in project management or a related field OR Bachelor’s Degree and 4-7 years of experience.
- Master Scheduler experience
- Prior experience using Primavera P6 scheduling software in a construction or utility environment.
- Ability to understand and identify schedule risk with critical path details.
- Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
