    Terms of Employment

    • W2 Contract, 12 Months
    • This is a hybrid position – the schedule primarily remote and the expectations is to come into the office for ‘moments that matter,’ usually once per month/few times per year. 

    Overview
    Our client is seeking a Business Analyst to join their Retail Operations Team to play a crucial role in analyzing and improving various aspects of retail operations, with a focus on billing data, enrollment, onboarding, and regulatory compliance.

    • Utilize basic Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivots, for data analysis and reporting.
    • Assist in technical upgrades, particularly in Power BI, to enhance data visualization and analysis capabilities.
    • Work with SQL data, running queries and analyzing large datasets to extract insights.
    • Navigate regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance and addressing downstream issues.

    Required Skills & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of experience and 4-5+ years of experience without the Bachelor’s Degree. 
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite. 
    • Proficiency in Excel, including Vlookups and pivot tables.
    • Basic understanding of SQL –  will need to be comfortable running the data and understand queries (not write queries), and will need to be aware of change in the queries.
    • Strong attention to detail, particularly in numerical data analysis.
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
    • Comfortable asking questions and seeking clarification when needed.
    • Proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to work independently.
    • Adaptable to changing priorities and requirements in a fast-paced environment.

    Preferred Skills & Experience

    • Familiarity with utility retail energy 
    • Familiarity with Power BI for data visualization and analysis.
    • Extensive experience with SQL.
