    • Receive and check-in materials, including logging, tracking, and staging items for analysis.
    • Review and complete failed/defective material tags to ensure all engineering data is accurate.
    • Coordinate the pickup and delivery of failed materials across 23 different regional offices (“barns”).
    • Maintain electronic records and trackers using Microsoft Office to monitor the status of incoming assets.
    • Ensure the lab environment and storage areas remain organized and safe.
    • Follow up with field offices to account for missing or delayed deliveries.

    Required Qualifications
    • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Word and Excel).
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 30 pounds.
    • Effective communication skills for coordinating with various internal teams.
    • Willingness to learn; no specific prior experience or degree is required as on-site training is provided.

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Previous experience in a lab, manufacturing, or “dirty” office environment.
    • Experience in administrative roles requiring asset tracking or inventory coordination.
    • Ability to work a consistent Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday schedule (though other arrangements can be considered).

  • Project Manager

    Terms of Employment:
    ● W2 Contract, 9 Months
    ● This is a hybrid position. Candidates must be comfortable working onsite in Oakbrook Terrace on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays and remotely on Mondays and Fridays on a weekly basis. There will also be field visits involved – up to once per week. Mileage compensation for field travel beyond regular commuting is acceptable.

    ● Manage transmission-level projects, including substation rebuilds, expansions, modifications, and transmission line build-outs.
    ● Oversee projects with a significant customer interconnection element, navigating the nuances of customer interactions.
    ● Demonstrate a strong understanding of equipment, outage planning processes, and the design phase of infrastructure projects.
    ● Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, which can span three to five years.
    ● Participate in regular project and contract management calls, including a 7 AM call on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

    Required Qualifications:
    ● Proven experience managing transmission-level electrical utility projects (138kV+), or similar large-scale construction projects from an owner’s perspective.
    ● Demonstrated understanding of the equipment, outage planning processes, and design phase for infrastructure projects.
    ● Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
    ● Strong project financial acumen (forecasting, accruals, payment reconciliation, CPI, SPI).
    ● Ability to balance the needs of both internal and external stakeholders.
    ● Must have experience with infrastructure or construction project management; candidates with primarily IT or software project management experience will not be considered.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    ● Bachelor of Science degree in engineering and/or project management.
    ● Experience working through the interconnection process at a transmission level.
    ● PMP or CAPM certification.

  • Drone Operator Analyst

    Overview

    Our client is seeking a Drone Operator Analyst to provide governance and oversight for their UxS (drone) program. This role is accountable for ensuring operational integrity, compliance, and performance excellence by defining program metrics, managing vendor partnerships, and developing systems for reporting. The successful candidate will monitor program performance, enforce corrective actions, and may be required to provide field support as a certified drone operator to meet overall program objectives

    Responsibilities

    • Establish and maintain governance frameworks for UxS program operations, compliance, and safety.
    • Define program performance, operational, and safety metrics, including accurate calculation methodologies.
    • Develop and maintain tools and systems for performance tracking, compliance monitoring, and reporting.
    • Analyze program data to identify trends and root causes of deviations to recommend actionable improvements.
    • Deliver accurate and timely reports to leadership and stakeholders.
    • Ensure adherence to FAA regulations, company policies, and compliance agreements while coordinating pilot certification and fleet management in accordance with FAA Part 107.
    • Lead procurement of services, software, labor, and materials and manage vendor relationships and contracts.
    • Execute the strategic roadmap for UxS program development and expansion, integrating drone operations into utility workflows.
    • Collaborate with Finance and Account Payable for budget alignment and invoice processing.

    Required Skills & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aviation, Technology, or a related field.
    • 2+ years of experience in the industry.
    • Proficiency in Data & Analytics tools including Python, Oracle/SQL, Power BI (DAX, Query, Modeling), and Tableau.
    • Experience with Automation & Development tools such as Power Applications, Power Automate, and Web Development.
    • Strong knowledge of Compliance & Documentation tools including SharePoint and MS Office.
    • FAA Part 107 certification (or the ability to obtain it within 45 days of employment) and a solid understanding of FAA regulations.
    • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to facilitate cross-functional collaboration and problem-solving.

    Preferred Skills & Experience

    • 1+ years of experience in drone operations or aviation program management.
    • Documented 25+ flight hours.
    • Valid FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.
    • Additional technical certifications.
    • Working knowledge of UAS regulatory environments, airspace safety, and drone data integration.
