    Terms of Employment

    • W2 Contract, 12 months 
    • This position is hybrid, with Tuesday-Thursday onsite in OakBrook Terrace, IL and occasional site visits.
    • The core work hours are 9 AM-3 PM.

    Overview

    Our client is seeking a Project Manager to support distribution relocation projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and managing projects from initiation to completion. They will oversee all aspects of a project, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing. This is a financial heavy role. You will be working on projects of $5+ million.

    Responsibilities

    • Developing project plans, including scope, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
    • Leading project teams and coordinating activities to ensure that project goals are met.
    • Monitoring project progress and identifying and addressing issues or risks.
    • Communicating with stakeholders and senior management to provide updates on project status.
    • Managing project budgets and ensuring that projects are delivered within budget.
    • Ensuring that projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
    • Developing and maintaining relationships with project stakeholders and external partners.
    • Leading project meetings and facilitating discussions to drive project progress.
    • Managing project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and reports.
    • Supporting the development and implementation of project management best practices and processes.

    Required Skills & Experience

    • 4+ years project management experience.
    • Utility, infrastructure, or construction type experience. 
    • Experience with financial forecasting, managing a budget, reviewing plans, planning, scheduling, communicating, updating records and databases.
    • Proficient with MS Office, P6, Microsoft project, PowerBI, and Unifier. 
    • Ability to learn new technologies quickly. 
    • High intelligence, energy, and integrity. 

    Preferred Skills & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, management, construction, or related field.
    • PMP certification 
    • Field Construction utility experience
